Remote Hands & Security

Our first facility – located in Hønefoss, close to Oslo and Norway’s largest international airport – has been operational since February 2024.

The first phase is a 6 MW IT power AI data center prepared for liquid cooling to support high-density racks for HPC.

The site can support standard densities at 5 kW, up to HPC (+120kW) per rack.

Expansion of AQ-OSL1:

The existing data center AQ-OSL1 will be expanded by 15 MW gross power – with two expansion stages, AQ-OSL1B and AQ-OSL1C. The joint potential power supply will be 171 MW.

Norway is an ideal data center location.

Despite its geographical location at the edge of Europe, Norway is increasingly moving to the center of European data traffic due to the expansion of network connections.

Access to green power and a cool climate make Norway an ideal location for data centers. Due to renewable energy, low electricity prices, and abundant cold water, Norway is an attractive location for building large data centers. 98% of Norway’s electricity is generated from renewable sources, enabling the country to offer Europe’s most competitive electricity prices.
